Kaiut Yoga is a biomechanical (science of movement and structure) method of yoga based on the ancient yoga practice. It focuses on and addresses the challenges brought on by our modern lifestyles. In today’s world, many of us spend much of our time sitting, hunched forward while working on a computer. Hours spent in this position are physically, mentally and emotionally detrimental to our well-being.
Our bodies feel and record every incident we have experienced, whether it be a seemingly small or a more obvious accident. These events get stored in our subconscious and body tissue only to later reappear as restrictions, blockages and pain. Often our bodies try to compensate by changing our patterns of movement thereby affecting our entire kinetic chain. These changes continue to cause more physical (and sometimes psychological) imbalances that lead to a vicious pain cycle, one we often do not remember the origins of.
Kaiut Yoga was developed to find the restrictions and hidden trauma stored in our bodies and to melt them away. Kaiut Yoga is a practice that activates your body's natural healing intelligence and is customized for the individual. It calms the nervous system, helps to change your locomotion and it create new neural pathways. Change your body and change your life.
Kaiut Yoga ignites our body’s natural ability to heal one pose at a time!
